Corian is an artificial or acrylic stone, cast marble or granite, materials of this group are otherwise known as ‚solid surface‘. Corian was invented by the USA company DuPont, which until today is the global leader in the field, constantly discovering new ways of using the Corian material.

Corian is made of natural minerals, acrylic tar and colour pigments, without any health damaging or alergy causing substances.

Corian is a hard material, but when the whole surface is heated to the same temperature it becomes flexible like soft leather or gum. With the help of special technology and equipment, all kinds shapes and forms can be created.

There are no seems, only smooth surfces that are very easy to clean – exactly what one needs at home or in the office. The material is homogeneous, its structure is nonporous, hence it does not absorb liquids and bacteria cannot inhabit it. The use of Corian on medical premises is certified, which means that the material meets the highest standards and norms of hygene.

A joint venture between Simpolo, India and Emilgroup, Italy producing high end sintered surfaces designed in Italy and manufactured in India.

The product is basically a high quality vitrified tile with very high breaking strength and stain resistance.

Composite Marble

Composite Marble, also known as Cultured Marble, Agglomerated Marble, Engineered Marble and Artificial Marble, is a precise blend of clean, bleached, marble dust (CaCO3), polyester resin, catalysts, fillers and pigments that are thoroughly mixed and placed into open moulds that have been coated with a clear gel coat.

The gel coat is specially formulated to produce a tough, durable, transparent surface resistant to in-service wear. The blocks are sun-dried and cut on gang saws to produce slabs of the desired thickness.

The rough sawn slabs are then processed on line-polishers where calibration and polishing are completed to give mirror polished slabs.

Composite Quartz

Composite Quartz, also known as Engineered Quartz, has bridged the gap between nature and technology, with surfaces that are virtually maintenance free.

Made using a state-of-the-art production technique that mixes exceptionally high quantities of natural quartz with a specialised bonding agent, Composite Quartz is a superior material that is super-hard, low-maintenance with a natural stone look and available in a dazzling array of colours.

Stone Veneer

Flexsto is the result of Technostone’s mission of promoting eco-friendly building materials.

Flexsto, or Flexible Stone Veneer, is a veneer with a layer of stone 1 to 2.5 mm thick. It is made from a thin layer of stone stripped or peeled from a metamorphic stone slab (such as Slate, Schist or Quartzite), instead of cutting from a solid or precast composite material. Hence this process only works with layered metamorphic rocks and not with Granite or Marble.

HI-MACS® is a solid surface material produced by LG Hausys that can be moulded into any shape. It is widely used for architectural and interior applications, such as sculptural and high performance wall-cladding or kitchen, bathroom and furniture surfaces, in commercial, residential and public space projects.

It is composed of acrylic, natural minerals and pigments that come together to provide a smooth, non-porous and visually seamless surface which meets the highest standards for quality, aesthetics, fabrication, functionality and hygiene – offering manifold advantages over conventional materials.
